Rival Respawn

What is Project Respawn?

Respawn is a full upgrade to how our gaming community works.

It’s no longer just about scheduled tournaments. You can jump in anytime, compete instantly, and earn value every time you play. Everything has been rebuilt to be faster to start, easier to understand, and more rewarding the more you engage.

How long are Seasons?

Most seasons last 4-8 weeks. The exact length is always shown at the start of each season and customized by each community.

What is Blitz?

Blitz is a fast, instant match against a small number of other players (typically 4 or 8 competitors). Jump in, get matched, start competing.

What is VS?

VS is a head-to-head match between you and another player. You compete directly and earn tokens based on performance. 1-match and done.

Can I play at any time?

Yes. Blitz & VS are always available when live.

What are Tokens?

Tokens are Rival’s in-app currency. You earn them by playing. Tokens are used to enter raffles and unlock seasonal rewards.

What is a Raffle?

Each season features one raffle. Every token you earn becomes one entry into that raffle. More tokens means better chances of winning!

What is a Raffle Drawing?

The raffle drawing happens at the end of the season. The exact date and time are always shown in the app.

Do Tokens Expire?

Tokens earned in a season can only be used for that season’s raffle. Unused tokens do not carry over to future seasons.

DMCA Copyright Dispute Policy

In order to qualify for the "safe harbor" treatment under the DMCA, you must (a) have a policy of taking down infringing content that is brought to your attention and blocking repeat offenders (which is this policy), and (b) register with the US Copyright Office, so that people can contact you regarding allegedly infringing content. This document satisfies requirement (a).

To register with the US Copyright office, follow these steps:

  • Create a DMCA Designated Agent Registration Account at: https://dmca.copyright.gov/osp/login.html.

  • Follow the steps on your Registration Account to provide your correspondence information.

  • Provide any alternate names that someone might use to search for your designated DMCA Agent (for example, any other names under which you do business).

  • Fill in the appropriate fields using correspondence information for the individual you wish to designate as the DMCA agent. Note that this information will be used to notify your agent should you receive any notice of claimed infringement.

  • Check the box to certify that all information you have provided is true, to the best of your knowledge. Pay the required $6.00 fee to register your agent.

  • You should now see your company’s name and its associated registration number listed. Note that if you have not previously registered an agent, your status may not yet be listed as “Active”.

  • Keep in mind that you will also need to renew this electronic DMCA registration every three years. We recommend you set a calendar reminder to ensure this does not lapse. If your registration lapses, you won’t be protected by the safe harbor until it is renewed. For more details on how to use the new online registration system, please visit http://www.copyright.gov/rulemaking/onlinesp/NPR/index.html.

If a counter-notice is received by the Designated Agent, Company may, in its discretion, send a copy of the counter-notice to the original complaining party informing that person that Company may replace the removed material or cease disabling it in 10 business days. Unless the copyright owner files an action seeking a court order against the content provider accused of committing infringement, the removed material may be replaced or access to it restored in 10 to 14 business days or more after receipt of the counter-notice, at Company's discretion.
